I view the world with a child-like sense of wonder, but with adult expectations.

Hi, I'm Kate. I'm a Northern California native, residing in Southern California. I traded the pine trees for the palm trees, but my heart is in the mountains and forests.

I have more interests than hobbies, but I do love playing D&D and drawing digital illustrations. Some of my favorite artists are Rauschenberg, Rembrandt (you look at a Rembrandt and not cry), Brom, Duchamp.  I am ever-inspired by the works of Annie Atkins, Alfons Mucha, William Morris, Massimo and Lella Vignelli, and Bauhaus (the collective design group and the band). 

When it comes to design, I am a strong believer that less is more, every piece within a design must have a reason, and there is a time and place for drop shadows.
